The comment section of each blog post stays open for one month after the post’s publication date. After that, comments are closed.

Before you add your thoughts to the comment section of the Simplified Blog, please review the following comment guidelines. If you’d like your comment to be visible on our blog, please be considerate and follow these guidelines.

We welcome thoughtful and civilized discussion. And, we reserve the right to edit or delete comments without explanation or notification.

Comment Guidelines:

• Use your real first name and email address in the sign up form.
• Please read the post before commenting and add relevant ideas that expand on the topic of the post you are commenting on.
• Feel free to add your own ideas, feedback and humor, if you wish.

• We welcome constructive (not uninformed or mean-spirited) criticism.
• Certain comments may not be posted or may be deleted after they are posted.

Examples of actions that will result in your comment(s) being deleted:

• Links: Please be aware that your comment may not be approved if you include a link in your post. Relevant links that contribute to the conversation need to be approved.
• Self-promotion: Promoting your business and trying to gain backlinks, traffic, or other types of self-promotion are not allowed.
• Liability: By posting a comment, you agree that your contribution is your own and that you take responsibility for it. You agree to hold Simplified, all post authors, and other commenters harmless.
• Copyright: If we receive authentic notice that a comment is in violation of anyone’s copyrighted information, the comment will be deleted and the commenter may be blocked from posting comments in the future.

• Avatar: If you’d like to see your photo next to your comment consider signing up for Gravatar. This may also help us approve your comment more quickly.
• Email: You need to provide an authentic, verified email address to post a comment on Simplified and receive comment subscriptions. We never publish your personal information on the blog. Accordingly, please don’t share private information in your comment. We will delete phone numbers, email addresses, or any other private or personal information.
