I know a drawer is not your real problem. The basement or your closet is. The spare room with the door closed is. So here's why we start with the drawer, and how it helps you get to those rooms.

The reason you keep stopping (or can’t start at all) in those areas has nothing to do with not having enough time or being lazy. It’s about doubt and your inner voice. Your brain has no proof yet that you can finish, and you can’t build that proof starting in the hardest room in the house.

That’s why this Drawer Reset works and gives you momentum.

You get your first proof today, in just over 30 minutes, following steps you can’t fail at, with me working right beside you. And that proof is what gives you momentum for the trickier rooms.

YES, I WANT PROGRESS FOR $9

Here’s exactly what you get in the One-Drawer Reset:

  1. Three short videos

I’m doing my real drawer, right next to you doing yours. You don’t have to pick the drawer either. I pick it with you, and everything you need is already in your house.

  2. One printable checklist

So there is nothing to remember, just follow along.

  3. One finished drawer

Done right with no second-guessing, crossed off your list for good, and momentum to keep going.

“Hi! This was such a good challenge and I loved how you encouraged me to start with one simple drawer. You called out finding the perfect place to start and it was like you were in the room with me because I was thinking that exact thing when you said it! Clutter is just a bunch of unmade decisions and as a single mother who makes decisions all day long at work too, I definitely don’t need to hoard any extra at home. Thank you! 😊”

“Having the video going at the same time as I was working was awesome because of the body doubling- it made it so easy, and it’s like I wasn’t even doing work.

I always put organizing off because I was waiting for the perfect moment or the perfect drawer, but you showed me why I need to just start and how to just start and NOW IT’S DONE- thank you!

It was so helpful that you worked on your own junk drawers at the same time and showed me what to do in real time- it made it realistic and helped me get my drawer done- great video.”

“The sticky note labels are such a smart step. In a space like a pantry I can now see how they a must (and a tip I wouldn’t have used or thought about), so I'm going to use them consistently when organizing and decluttering.

I love the way you teach the ‘elsewhere bin’ in the video. It helped me stay in the kitchen and keep going, because with my ADHD brain, if I wander off to put the tools away, I’ll start organizing the toolbox and forget the kitchen mess completely.

I love the way you talk through your decisions in the video (very helpful) , especially the 3 questions you ask yourself. I’ve read them in your notes before, but it hits different to hear you actually do it.”

“Hi Meg. I did it and it felt so good. Once I did it together with you - I snapped the picture and then I put the phone away and continued. This was my husband's bathroom drawer - easiest to tackle emotionally - lots of stuff in there which either got moved to their own homes / donated or garbage.”

“Hi! Ok so I did the one drawer reset a few days ago, and then I spiraled. In the absolute best way. 🤭 My office has been the dumping ground for months. I decided to start with one drawer in this shelf. It was pens and markers and we did it together. I moved onto the next drawer. And the next. And then that shelf was done. So I moved onto the bookshelves and the closets and well, now I'm done with the whole room. It's been months that this door has just been closed because I didn't know where to start and was embarrassed at the state of the room.

You summed it up perfectly when you said “clutter is a bunch of unmade decisions” and once I got started, the decisions really weren’t that hard at all. And the results of having 3/4 of this shelf empty is so rewarding! It’s brought my brain so much peace knowing there’s room for whatever if I need it. And gone are the things that were just silently stressing me out because they were unmade decisions.”

“This course was such a good reminder to JUST START! And having you right alongside helped tremendously. You’ve created something really special, made it feel less daunting knowing you would meet me where I was and to just do it.”

“I dug out my storage tote of all the organizers I've bought for my organizing I’ve never done - and finally put them to work!”

“I did my front hall console drawer successfully thanks to your system. I loved the check list, and even more the videos that explained the psychology behind the reasons I may not succeed without your direction. I used your philosophy to choose a non sentimental drawer to flex my decision making process and help the “things do the deciding”. It worked really well. I completed a task that I had been avoiding and also feel confident now that I can go on to a drawer with some harder decisions to make after this success. I also liked your advice not to worry about getting special bins or trays. Just do it. That had been another “false” detriment to starting. It took me ten minutes. Although I am not comfortable sharing the pictures on line, I got rid of half the items in the drawer as a few needed throwing out (old keys that had been there so long we did not know what they were for), some plastic piece we saved that we never found out what it was from, old coupons thrown out...”

I was exactly where you are!

Look, I know how it feels to stand in front of a closet or a basement and not be able to let one thing go. You paid good money for it. It has a memory attached to it. You might need it someday. So you close the door again, and you decide the problem is you.

I was already a professional organizer when I hit rock bottom with my own stuff. After my divorce I moved into a tiny house, and I honestly believed everything from my old life would fit. It didn’t. I stood in a living room I could not walk through, boxes stacked to my shoulders, and I could not let go of a single one of them. I could organize anyone’s house but mine.

That was the night I understood I didn’t have an organizing problem. I had a letting go problem.

What worked?

I went and studied it. I researched why a brain hangs onto things we paid for, things we might need someday, and things that hold a memory. Once I understood why I couldn’t let go, I could work with my brain instead of fighting it.

Then I practiced. I left the wedding dress alone and started with the small stuff, one drawer at a time, so I could make keep-or-let-go decisions before anything hard was in my hands. Then I did the same thing with my clients, and I watched women who had been stuck for years let things go in seconds. Helping people let go is the work I do now.

That drawer is what we’re doing together now. Same questions, same small decisions, and your brain gets the same practice mine did before the hard stuff.

Imagine this...

You’ve spent years managing the stuff. Cleaning around it, apologizing for it, and planning to deal with it some other weekend.

Here’s what’s on the other side.

  • Your home, or your parents’ home that you’re helping with, is down to only the things that get used and are loved.
  • Opening a drawer and finding what you went in there for. No digging, no buying a second one because the first one is somewhere in the house.
  • A calm brain. You’re not doing the drawer over and over in your head at 11 p.m. The list of things you still need to deal with is just gone, because you dealt with them.
  • Time that’s yours. You did it once, the right way, so you're not redoing it every few months. Evenings where you sit down. Saturdays with your family instead of another day of “I can relax once the house is organized.”
  • Peace in your relationships. No more fighting about where things are, because everything has one place and everyone knows it.
  • Being present. Actually hearing your kid’s story at dinner, because half your brain isn’t thinking about the stuff in the drawer.
  • No more guilt about yourself. You stop lying in bed thinking you’re a terrible mom or that something is wrong with you. You were overwhelmed. You were never the problem.
  • Trusting yourself again. One finished space, then another, until you know you’re someone who finishes what she starts. That belief follows you out of the house and into every other part of your life.
  • Your kids never having to sort through it. The decisions get made now, by you, instead of later, by them.

You’ve been carrying all of this for years. This is where it stops.

After 16 years in thousands of real women’s homes, and over 5,000 people through my digital courses, I know how to get you started and finished, with steps that actually work.
